Call to Action: Join Over 300 Organizations Supporting the Historic Preservation Fund

Dear Friends:

There’s still time to add your voice!

Over 300 organizations, businesses, agencies, and entities from 46 states and the District of Columbia have signed on to a bipartisan letter urging Congress to reauthorize the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) — and we’d love to see even more strong representation from New Jersey.

For nearly 50 years, the HPF has been the primary federal funding source supporting state and tribal preservation offices, competitive grants, and community revitalization efforts across the country. However, with the HPF’s authorization having expired in 2024, this vital program — and the preservation work it supports — is at risk.

Reauthorizing the HPF will ensure continued funding and long-term stability for the communities, tribes, and states that depend on it.

If your organization, business, or agency hasn’t yet signed on, there’s still time. You can still add your name to the letter, and we’ll continue to collect and update signatures as this important effort moves forward.

Sign on here: Add Your Organization/Business/Entity to the HPF Reauthorization Sing-on Letter Today!

Thank you for standing with us to protect and strengthen the Historic Preservation Fund — and the historic places and communities it sustains.

Best regards,

Preservation New Jersey
