We will we sit down with Gilda Rogers of the T. Thomas Fortune House. Built in the mid-19th century, it was the home of Timothy Thomas Fortune (1856–1928), a leading African-American journalist and civil rights advocate, from 1901 to 1908.

"Talks with our Ten Most: T. Thomas Fortune House," via Zoom on January 16 at 7PM. We will we sit down with Gilda Rogers of the T. Thomas Fortune House. Built in the mid-19th century, it was the home of Timothy Thomas Fortune (1856–1928), a leading African-American journalist and civil rights advocate, from 1901 to 1908. This event is an installment of our series, "Talks with Our Ten Most," where we share updates -- and lessons learned --  from past PNJ Ten Most Endangered Sites. The T. Thomas Fortune House was listed in 2007.  Free and open to all.
