Workshop: Making a Museum with Woodbridge History Museum

September 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

This engaging workshop will offer participants a behind-the-scenes look at how the Woodbridge History Museum came to life—from concept to curation. Attendees will learn about the process of transforming historic collections, community stories, and a local landmark into a cohesive and educational museum experience. Topics will include gathering and preserving artifacts, designing exhibits, and engaging the public. Led by members of the Woodbridge History Museum team, the session will provide valuable insights for anyone interested in local history, museum development, or starting a community-based heritage project.

This free program is open to the public and will include light refreshments and a guided site tour as part of the event. Presented in partnership with the Historical Association of Woodbridge Township and Middlesex County, the program is made possible through the generous support of the Middlesex County Division of History & Historic Preservation.
