On May 18, 2017 PNJ, along with the Newark Landmarks & Preservation Committee and APA-NJ, hosted a walking tour of Newark’s Military Park Historic District and buildings, including the Hahne and NJ Bell Telephone buildings, the Peddie Memorial Church, & others. The tour included discussions with local experts about historic preservation, redevelopment and adaptive reuse, economic development, and innovation in collaborative community space.
A big thank you to Liz del Tufo, Anne Englot, Courtenay Mercer, Linda Morgan, and Ulana Zakalak for leading the tour, as well as Zemin Shang and William Neumann for serving on the planning committee.
