Preservation New Jersey Annual Meeting

Join Preservation New Jersey for its Annual Meeting in Somerset County at the historic Hageman Barns (1876), a beautifully preserved 19th-century agricultural complex that reflects New Jersey’s rural heritage and architectural history. This year’s gathering will bring together preservation professionals, community advocates, and members from across the state for an afternoon of updates, conversation, and shared commitment to protecting New Jersey’s historic places.
Attendees will hear organizational updates on statewide preservation initiatives, celebrate recent accomplishments, and look ahead to priorities for the coming year. The event also offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with fellow advocates working to safeguard New Jersey’s cultural and architectural heritage.
The event will include opportunities to explore nearby historic resources, including the Hageman House, the Wyckoff-Garrettson House, and the Van Liew/Suydam property from 5:00–6:00 PM, with shuttle service provided for convenience.
Networking and light food and refreshments will begin at 6:00 PM, offering time to connect with fellow preservationists, community partners, and supporters. The formal program will begin at 6:30 PM, featuring organizational updates, preservation highlights from the past year, and a look ahead at upcoming priorities and initiatives.
