Membership Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership with Preservation New Jersey, Inc. (“PNJ”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By enrolling in or renewing your PNJ membership, you (“Member”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals, organizations, and businesses that support the mission and goals of Preservation New Jersey: to advocate for and promote historic preservation as a sustainable strategy to protect and enhance the vitality and heritage of New Jersey communities.
PNJ reserves the right to deny or terminate membership to any individual or organization whose conduct is inconsistent with our mission or values as per the organization’s Bylaws.
2. Membership Categories and Fees
Membership categories, descriptions, and annual fees are available on the PNJ website and may be updated from time to time. Membership becomes active upon receipt and processing of full payment.
All membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
3. Membership Term and Renewal
Membership is valid for one (1) calendar year from the date of enrollment unless otherwise specified. Renewal notices will be sent in advance of expiration. Members may renew manually or set up auto-renewal where available.

By becoming a member, you agree to receive communications from PNJ related to your membership, organizational updates, events, and fundraising. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, but essential updates may still be sent.

PNJ respects your privacy. We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or with service providers acting on our behalf. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
8. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting PNJ. No refunds will be issued for canceled memberships unless required by law.
PNJ reserves the right to revoke membership without refund if a member violates these Terms, engages in misconduct, or acts in a manner contrary to PNJ’s Bylaws.
9. Limitation of Liability
PNJ will not be liable for any damages arising from or related to your membership, including lost benefits or changes to offerings, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to Terms
PNJ reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued membership after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Members will be notified of significant updates.
