Talks with our Ten Most: Stacked Stone Rock Slide Barrier (2026)

Join Preservation New Jersey for the next installment of Talks with Our Ten Most, a virtual series highlighting sites included on the 2026 Ten Most Endangered Historic Places in New Jersey list.

This program will focus on the Stacked Stone Rock Slide Barrier along Interstate 80 in the Delaware Water Gap, a distinctive example of historic transportation infrastructure and craftsmanship. The discussion will explore the barrier’s history and significance, the threats it currently faces, and the preservation concerns surrounding proposed changes to the I-80 corridor.
